The link between the school and Our Lady of Fatima Parish is particularly strong. Every month (during the last Sunday), students and their families come together to celebrate a school family Mass at the 10.00am liturgy. A morning tea usually follows the Mass and is a great opportunity for members of both the school and parish communities to come together and develop relationships.
The school is a valuable ministry of the parish. It is the place where children learn about their faith and practise those rituals which are important to their faith journey. The parish supports the school’s Catholic life and learning practices and encourages the students and families to participate further in the overall life of the parish.
The parish hold a Family Mass once a month on Sunday. A morning tea usually follows the Mass and is a great opportunity for members of both the school and parish communities to come together and develop even closer relationships.
The school’s Family Educator plays an important role of connecting families to each other within the school and to the wider parish. A range of prayer and social justice activities provide opportunities for parents and families to come together and allows the school to connect these families with the parish and the wider Catholic community.
